Demon Crusade gameplay mechanics to appeal to casual MMO gamers
Demon Crusade is a new MMORPG that will mix everything good about Eastern and Western culture while adding in a devilish twist.
You will embark on a quest through the Devil Land as you attempt to protect the Demon Temple from destruction. Along the way you will be able to find ancient myths, lost mechanical civilizations, and smooth combat as you proceed along your side-scrolling adventure and attempt to become the savior of the underworld.
The game’s mechanics are simple enough to make the gameplay accessible ad fun for gamers of all ages. You will train a variety of partners and take them on your adventures, where they will help you topple epic bosses. All equipment and partners will be bound to the player character, allowing gamers to focus on the title’s quest lines and dungeons.
You will be able to interact with your partners in various ways, growing your friendships and increasing the Amity rating for them. This rating will allow your NPC partners to grow even stronger, improve their appearance, and even unlock epic skills. Said the developers, “With the Amity system, even solo players can enjoy a game with friends.”
The game will feature turn-based battles that the developers claim will marry deep strategy and quick tactical thinking. You will be given simple formations, such as a magic hexagram, to deploy your hero and up to five partners to take part in the battle. There are a variety of partner classes, each with several options, to add in a variety of “unpredictable strategy and fun”.
Does this sound like an MMO you would enjoy?
