One of my favorite new additions to upcoming titles Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, Little Mac, will reportedly have his pink training outfit available as an alternate costume. Game director Masahiro Sakurai posted the picture to Nintendo’s Miiverse with this to say:

“The pink sweatshirt looks really cool on Little Mac, so you can use that outfit in this game…  How can a pink sweatshirt look so cool?  Looks like some of you noticed that this version of Little Mac wasn’t shown at E3.  There are many things, like Link’s Skyward Sword tunic design I posted earlier, that haven’t been revealed.”

As some experienced gamers well know, this is the outfit that the underdog boxer wears when doing the infamous jogging scene in both Mike Tyson’s Punch Out!! for the NES, as well as Punch Out!! for the Wii.  This is Little Mac’s second alternate costume to be revealed, his first one being the Wireframe Mac, representing the arcade Punch Out!! games.  This joins Wii Fit Trainer having both male and female models, as well as the Villager having both male and female variants.  What do you guys think about Little Mac’s alternate costumes?
