Kerbin Cup event to last all month, with new details being revealed as event continues.
The elimination rounds of soccer’s international tournament will begin tomorrow, but while we’re waiting, the folks behind the space agency simulator Kerbal Space Program are having their own soccer fun with a brand new Kerbin Cup mod. This mod is free to download on the official mod repository of the game, Curse.com
The mod has already been downloaded nearly 3,000 times, and it features several soccer-related items. These include a Kerbal-sized soccer ball, a rocket-sized soccer ball, and flags for all 32 countries that are participating in this summer’s World Cup.
The mod aims to be a celebration of the Kerbal spirit of innovation, with Squad hosting a plethora of activities as part of the Kerbin Cup. If you’re a gamer that’s interested in following the competition on Twitter, just search for the tag #KerbinCup. Prizes and other details for the event will be revealed throughout the month as teams from the KSP forums and KSP subreddit face each other for supremacy.
