Fairy Fencer F revealed by NISA
NIS America was proud to reveal that a new turn-based role-playing game, Fairy Fencer F, will arrive in both digital and physical form on September 23 in North America and September 26 in Europe.
This game, which was developed by COMPILE HEART, features character art by Tsunako, perhaps best known for his work on the Hyperdimension Neptunia series. In addition, it features concept art by Yoshitaka Amano, who is well known for working on the Final Fantasy series, as well as music by Nobuo Uematsu, perhaps best known for his work on the same series.
The game itself takes place in a world in which a Goddess and a Vile God fought each other for centuries. Because these two beings were evenly matched, they created special weapons that were imbued with their godly energy and contained the life force of a fairy. Utilizing these weapons, the two sealed each other away. The weapons later became known as “Furies”, and are highly sought by warriors who call themselves “Fencers”. After all, whoever collects a Fury will be granted one wish… at least according to legend.
A long time afterwards, you are put into the role of a young man named Fang. He decided to rashly pull a Fury from a stone one day, inadvertently becoming a Fencer, thus altering the course of his destiny.
The game features a robust combat system and in-depth customization, allowing you to utilize the Furies you collect to grant your characters powerful abilities or even customize dungeons.
Will you be picking up Fairy Fencer F in September?
