Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited arrives in August.

If you’ve been eagerly awaiting the Vita version of Disgaea 4, then we have something to help tide your wait a bit longer. Today the folks over at NISA have unveiled brand new screenshots of the game, which shows some fan favorite characters in new scenarios.

For those unaware, the title, which will arrive on August 12 in North America and August 29 in Europe (via both digital and physical form), is an expanded and enhanced version of the fourth title in the Disgaea series. This fourth title, initially called Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten on the PlayStation 3, had been praised for both its cast and story, with critics stating that each are among the best in the entire series.

The Vita version, Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited, will contain every bit of the DLC that was released for the PlayStation 3 title, as well as contain quite a bit of brand new content to lure older players back into the game.
