Blizzard has revealed a new card for the Hunter class, which will be available with the upcoming Hearthstone’s single-player adventure mode, Curse of Naxxramas. The new card is called “Webspinner” and, even if at first glance it doesn’t look too attractive, it can have an important part in a Hunter’s strategy.

Webspinner is a beast card, with 1/1 for attack and health and with 1 mana and a Deathrattle effect: draw a random Beast card. Literally this means that upon Webspinner’s death a random beast card will be put into your hand from your deck, but Hearthstone Senior Designer Ben Brode has explained on Twitter  that “it doesn’t pull cards from your deck, just puts a new card into your hand.” He had also noted on Twitter that the drawn card can be any collectible Beast from King Krush to Captain’s Parrot!

In this way you can expect to see the Webspinner card in most of Hunter’s decks, being played in combinations with Starving Buzzard or Kill Command, taking the place of Flare card or sacrificed in order to get a free Savannah Highmane in later turns.

Webspinner is the last class card to be revealed for Hearthstone: Curse of Naxxramas, which is scheduled to be released this summer. In the next weeks we can expect from Blizzard to announce the launch date or new neutral cards for its free-to-play card game. Let the hunt begin!
