If you were curious about the city-building title 1849, but were waiting to try it out, you may be interested to know that the developers have revealed that the game is now available on the Kindle Fire tablet.

This title, which places you directly in the gold rush era, is available for $4.99 from Amazon, and better yet, the controls have been fully optimized for the touch screen of the Kindle Fire, as well as other mobile devices. This release means that the game is currently available on five platforms: Kindle Fire, Android (via Google Play), iPad, Mac, and PC.
