If you own a PlayStation 4 or a gaming PC, no doubt you’ve already played the Battlefield: Hardline beta, which became available last week immediately following EA’s E3 press conference. But what about those who have an Xbox One?

Sadly a beta is not available for Microsoft’s next-gen console, but that will soon change.

Speaking to OXM, DICE General Manager Karl-Magnus Troedsson told the outlet that they “will have a beta on al platforms before release. But it won’t be this beta on Xbox. It’s not going to be the same version, just to be clear.”

There is no date for the alternate beta just yet but surely Xbox players won’t have to wait too long to get their hands on it before the October 21 release.

Troedsson also noted that DICE wanted player feedback as early as possible and that they plan on doing more tests like this in the future.
