On Monday, EA showcased the latest entry in their FIFA franchise, FIFA 15. Today, they’ve released the first gameplay trailer for the game, along with announcing that players who pre-order the Ultimate Game edition will receive about $40 worth of FIFA Ultimate Team content including new EA Sports Football Club items and game celebrations.  Check out the trailer below to watch the first footage of the game in action!

EA has worked their butts off to improve the atmosphere of the game, with the crowds now reacting properly to plays during the game as they happen, along with improving the graphics of the game from the players, to the ball, and every single blade of grass on the field. In-game physics will also receive a boost, with tighter, more responsive ball control  to shirt-pulling and shoulder barges among players. In their press release for FIFA 15, Executive Producer David Rutter is quoted as saying, “Visually, this is the biggest step the FIFA franchise has ever taken. We set out with the goal of creating atmosphere, players, crowds, and pitches that not only look like they do on match day, but also feel like they do when you play or watch football – it’s a level of immersion we’ve never been able to bring to the game before.”

FIFA 15 will also feature improved player AI, allowing players to work with in-game teammates against their opponents using team tactics to achieve short, medium, or long-term goals.
