Today the developers Hunted Cow Studios and HexWar were pleased to announce that the final game in their Tank Battle: East Front series has arrived on the App Store for $1.99 with no in-app purchases.

The game, Tank Battle: East Front 1945 wraps up the series on iPhone and iPad, featuring tactical combat on the Russian Front during 1945. You will be able to fight as the Germans or the Soviets as you take on a series of increasingly complex missions.

These missions vary from the straightforward “Wipe out all enemies” missions to capturing key points to protecting vital supply convoys and even constructing bridges to assault the enemy. It is based on (and is a major upgrade of) the successful game engine that was developed for Tank Battle: North Africa, and the other games in the series, 1941, 1942, 1943, and 1944, are all currently available on the App Store.
