PlayStation Plus Battles: North America vs. Europe (6-12-14)

As another week comes and goes, the two regions step back into the ring for another round. NA has vowed not to lose to the EU again, but will they be able to keep that vow?

NA opens up with a quick barrage, pummeling the EU with a free game. This title is Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. They quickly follow up the first blow with three massive sales, totaling 40 game discounts. These include such popular titles as Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag (Regular: $39.99, Sale: $27.99, PS+: $19.59) and Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes (Regular: $19.99 (PS3), $29.99 (PS4), Sale: $13.99 (PS3), $20.99 (PS4), PS+: $12.59 (PS3), $18.89 (PS4)). The full update can be found here.

The EU staggers back before retaliating with sales of their own. They unleash nine rapid blows with titles such as Tales of Syphonia Chronicles (19.99/$24.95 with PS+ users getting an additional 10 percent off) and Beyond: Two Souls (29.99/$44.95 with an additional 10 percent discount for PS+ users). The full update can be found here.

The referee quickly declares that the EU is simply too injured by the massive onslaught that NA employed, and cannot continue. As a result, NA has managed to keep their vow this week, tying up the score for the month. Now that it’s anybody’s game, who do you think will win the month of June?

Happy gaming!
