As part of the Sony E3 press conference, Deep Silver provided one of the coolest trailers thus far, as they introduced us to Dead Island 2, which will release in Spring 2015 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Developed by Yager, Dead Island 2’s story is based in California, where the state has become a pretty bloody and zombie-ridden area that has been put on full quarantine by the U.S. military. In the game, you’ll be able to handcraft weapons and will take players from San Francisco to Venice Beach.
Using Unreal Engine 4, Dead Island 2 will also feature up to eight-player multiplayer in co-op or in a world where they simply coexist but are independent of each other. You’ll also see classes like the berserker, the hunter, and more. Check out the trailer above and see what we mean by “coolest trailers.”
