E3 2014: Crystal Dynamics Reveals Rise of the Tomb Raider
Though it had been revealed that Square-Enix had made domain names for a possible Tomb Raider sequel, no footage of the game had surfaced. So in one of the really big surprises at Microsoft’s E3 press conference, Crystal Dynamics came on stage to reveal Rise of the Tomb Raider. The trailer shown below splices in clips of Lara having a conversation with a psychiatrist about her past and shows Lara being chased by a bear. Taking that into consideration, it does seem this is a direct sequel to the first Tomb Raider released last year. While you continue to ponder what Lara will be doing in this new Tomb Raider, here is the trailer:
There is certainly enough to create lots of intrigue in Rise of the Tomb Raider, which should be a big hit when it comes out some time in 2015.
