E3 2014: 343 Reveal Halo Master Chief Collection at Microsoft E3 Press Conference

Halo Master Chief Collection

Possibly one of the worst kept secrets heading into E3 2014 was a possible Halo 2 Anniversary Edition. Microsoft and 343 have done Halo fans one better and included all the numbered Halo games on one disc. If for some reason you are not familiar with the Halo series, this would include: Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4 remastered and running on their own engines. 343 has also promised that the Ridley Scott digital series “Halo Nightfall” and a beta to Halo 5 will be included as well.

343 did not stop there though, they left the best surprise for last when they revealed that beloved Halo 2 Multiplayer would be available “as it shipped ten years ago” with classic graphics included.

The best part is that Halo fans won’t have to wait long to get their hands on the Master Chief Collection because it comes out November 11, 2014.
