Spirit becomes Qora as it heads to Steam
Curve Digital are adept at changing game names, as evidenced previously with the whole Stealth Bastard fiasco. This time, they’ve taken Spirit, which was originally announced as part of a successful Kickstarter campaign by Holden Boyles and turned it into Qora. The title, which is on its way to PC, Mac, and Linux, has also increased in terms of scope, featuring brand new areas, music, and even a new “Telepathy” feature which will allow players to connect with the long dead and discover the history of the world around them. As Curve Digital knows, however, talk is cheap, and it’s usually best to back up claims with proof. To that end, they’ve released a brand new demo on Steam for both Windows and Mac that shows off some of the new features. Was the name change a good one, or do you think they should’ve stuck with Spirit?
