NIS America has announced that Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, the sequel to the popular mystery adventure title, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, will arrive on PlayStation Vita on September 2 in North America and September 5 in Europe.

The game, which will be available in both retail and digital forms, will place you in the role of a high school student as you are thrust into a life-or-death situation. You must use your wits and teamwork to survive, as each student was chosen for a special ability that they possess, making them the “Ultimate” example of something.

The characters, which you can see three of in this post, were designed by Rui Komatsuzaki, giving them a unique and darker take on the anime style. Some of the people you will meet in the game include Ibuki, the hyper-energetic Ultimate Musician and Kazuichi, the Ultimate Mechanic.
