More game announcements this morning as Deep Silver has today announced Homefront: The Revolution, the new Crytek FPS that is set to release in 2015.
Coming to the Xbox One, PS4, PC, Mac and Linux, the game will put players into a futuristic United States, which has been decimated and occupied by the Korean People’s Army. The game looks to be taking place mainly in Philadelphia, which has become a police state, and players will have to engage in guerrilla warfare to take the enemy forces down.
The game will not only feature its single-player campaign, but also four-player online co-op.
Homefront: The Revolution will run on Crytek’s CryEngine tech, and from what we’ve seen in the trailer and the screenshots below, it’s quite a looker.
