PlayStation Plus Battles: EU vs. NA (5-29-14)

Limbo arrives in NA's IGC.

Limbo arrives in NA’s IGC.

The two regions gear up for the final skirmish of May. Which one will come out on top, winning the week? Which region will win the month? We’ll find out as the attacks begin right now.

North America, having barely scraped a victory out last week, won the right to make the first attack this week. To that end they unleash a barrage of discounts to soften up the EU with Mind Zero (regular: $33.99, PS+: $27.19), The LEGO Movie Videogame on all three systems (regular: $59.99 (PS4), $49.99 (PS3), $29.99 (PSV). PS+: $40.49 (PS4), $33.74 (PS3), $20.24 (PSV)), and a game that the EU had placed on sale last week, Master Reboot (regular: $14.99, PS+: $7.64).

With the EU seemingly down from the assault, North America moves in to finish it off with a free game, Limbo, for their handheld console. The full NA PlayStation Store update can be found here.

The EU is reeling from the vicious assault and only manages to pull out a single counter. This counter is a sale on Terraria for both PlayStation 3 and Vita (regular: €14.99/£11.99/AU$22.95.Sale: €5.99/£4.79/AU$8.85. PS+ members receive an additional 15% off.). The full EU PlayStation Store update can be seen here.

The ferocity of North America’s assault easily won them the final week of May, putting them 3-0 this month and giving them dominance over May 2014. You can rest assured that the EU won’t take this lying down next month, however, but will they be able to retaliate, or will North America remain vigilant and manage to turn back any assaults?
