SEGA announces Alienware Arena eSports Partnership for Company of Heroes 2

Today both SEGA of America and SEGA of Europe have revealed that they have entered a tournament partnership with the eSports heavyweight Alienware Arena for Relic Entertainment’s title, Company of Heroes 2.

This tournament will be a three week 1v1 tournament held across both Europe and North America on June 2014. The total cash prizes in each region will come in at more than $1,000, with the tournament running from June 7 through June 21. This tournament is open to all Alienware Arena members, though there is a limit of 128 contestants.

In addition, to celebrate the partnership SEGA will be offering a limited number of Alienware Arena members access to the standalone multiplayer of Company of Heroes 2, thus granting full access to the global battlefield and all multiplayer game modes.
