FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: World Cup Free Update Coming Next Week

EA Sports has announced that FIFA 14 will be receiving the free Ultimate Team: World Cup update next week, bringing the “excitement of the  2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil” to FIFA 14’s Ultimate Team mode. The update will be available at the end of this month, before the tournament kicks off in Brazil this June.

The World Cup FUT mode will run independently of FIFA 14 Ultimate Team, but it has similar rules: you build a fantasy team of players from around the world, only now the players will come from the 32 nations which compete in the upcoming tournament.

You will be able to earn in-game virtual coins to acquire packs, containing new players and consumables. There will also be special packs in the FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: World Cup Store, every of those packs including a free Gold Pack available for use in the standard FIFA 14 Ultimate Team experience.

FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: World Cup mode will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on May 29th.
