Mojang and 4J Studios have announced that Minecraft will be released in August on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PlayStation Vita. The game is expected to contain worlds that will be bigger than the existing ones and a grater draw distance.
The Xbox One version will be available for $19.99 and if you have the Xbox 360 version or you’ve played it online on the disc version, after about a year you will be able to upgrade the Xbox One version for $4.99.
The PlayStation 4 version will cost as well $19.99 and the Minecraft: PlayStation 3+ Vita version will be available also for $19.99. You’ll be able to transfer your saves from PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Vita on your PlayStation 4 but not vice versa.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, prepare for the huge impact that this launch will have on the game’s sales.
