Metro Redux coming to next-gen; first screens and trailer

4A Games and Deep Silver are bringing re-mastered versions of both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light to the PS4, Xbox One and PC later this year,as Metro Redux.

Each game will be available as a digital download for $24.99 or as a boxed version of both games for $49.99.

According to the publisher, the games will include new gameplay features, updated graphics, 60fps gameplay and new content.  In addition, Metro 2033 has been rebuilt using the latest 4A Engine, including advanced enemy AI, improved combat and stealth, better weapon handling and more.

Metro: Last Light on the other hand, is getting new melee animations, “Check Watch” and “Check Inventory” features and all of the previously released DLC.

Ranger Mode also returns for both games, while Linux and SteamOS versions will be released sometime afterward.
