If you’ve been interested in playing a game that will help you learn an instrument, then you may be interested in Songs2See. The title, which receives an update today to add in violin support, utilizes a microphone to record your performance and gives you feedback on how well you intonate the songs while increasing your highscore.

The game shows the optimal placement of fingers on the instrument of your choice, and currently includes support for 9 different instruments. These are the guitar, bass, ukulele, trumpet, clarinet, saxophone, recorder (flute), piano, and now the violin as well. Other instruments are also possible by customizing clef and transposition.

The game developers state that this is just the beginning for the title, which also gives complete freedom on music content. You can simply utilize the game’s Editor mode to import any song from your music collection in order to turn it into practice content for the title.
