North America and Europe gear up to duke it out for PlayStation Plus supremacy. Which region will come out on top? Which one will be utterly destroyed? We’ll find out the answers to these questions and more right now.

The EU starts things off with a double discount, firing off Cell Damage HD (PS3/PS4/Vita) with a 10% launch discount until May 28. They follow up with a 20% discount on BIT.TRIP Presents… Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien for the Vita until July 30. The full EU update can be found here.

North America is not amused, and decides to retaliate with a free game, namely Skullgirls. They continue with a barrage of four discounts. First up is Hitman Absolution: Special Edition at $8.99 ($19.99 regular price). They follow this up with Hitman Trilogy HD at $14.39 ($39.99 regular) and Tomb Raider (PS3) at $13.49 ($19.99 regular). The final discount in this barrage is the popular Serious Sam 3: BFE for $14.99

NA isn’t done yet, however, as the EU’s assault served only to enrage them. They proceed to fire off a volley of “Free play sale” discounts, including dropping the cost of 300 gold coins in Spartacus Legends down to $74.99 for regular PSN members and $37.50 for PS+ users ($149.99 regular). They also serve up sales for Dust 514, Warframe, Blacklight: Retribution, DC Universe Online, and Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate: Core Fighters, which can all be found on the official update.

Overall NA’s massive retaliation wins them the battle this week, completely obliterating the EU’s forces. Will they continue to keep ahead, or can the EU launch a successful counterstrike? We’ll find out next week, but for now, happy gaming!
