Free-to-play racing title Auto Club Revolution is getting an overhaul on June 16, with the launch of the closed beta.
Eutechnyx will select new players from various regions worldwide to enter the closed beta, with new interiors being added as well as audio and engine sounds. Players will be able to create a 360-degree garage, with vehicle physics also receiving an update.
“We’ve spent two years laying the foundation of an authentic community-driven game for fans of automotive culture. We have hundreds of thousands of players worldwide that motivate us to push the ACR experience even further, and now we are bringing the best ideas to fruition,” says Dave Thompson, Development Director of ACR.
According to the developer, only a single download will be necessary to jump into the game and also interact with the community thanks to a redesigned client.
New players will be able to register for the ACR Closed Beta from June 16 at http://www.autoclubrevolution.com/ and current players will have immediate access when the Closed Beta starts.
Oculus Rift is also currently in development and functionality will also be added this fall when new VR hardware is released.
