Xbox Live Gold current subscribers can request refunds starting June

Now that many apps from the Xbox One and Xbox 360‘s portfolio of entertainment are no longer behind a pay wall, current Xbox Live Gold subscribers can request for a refund. How will this help you? Well, if you only bought the Gold subscription just to use Netflix, or any other app, you can now get your money back and still use the app.

“Once the Xbox One and Xbox 360 system updates become available in June, Xbox Live Gold members who purchased a paid membership before that day can cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of any unused remaining days between the date of cancellation and the date their paid Gold membership ends,”

“Cancellation and pro-rata refund requests require six to eight weeks for processing. Free or trial Gold memberships are not eligible for a refund.” contains the updated FAQ.

That’s the third good news in a row for this week from Microsoft, good job!
