On 1st of May we told you that a Romanian retailer had revealed the launch date of the upcoming Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition. According to Altex Romania, the special edition was supposed to become available in stores on September 25, 2014, but today Activision Blizzard has announced that we don’t have to wait until then to grab a copy of it.
On the official Diablo Twitter account the following tweet was posted minutes ago: “Prepare your living rooms, nephalem. is coming to console Aug 19!”. So Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition will be making its way to consoles in August 2014 and the players will be able to play local co-op with friends too, allowing four players to share the same screen.
This edition will bundle the game with the Reaper of Souls expansion, and will be heading to Xbox One/PS4 for $59.99 and Xbox 360/PS3 for $39.99 on August 19th. If you pre-order the game, you will also get the ‘Infernal Pauldrons’, available to wear at level 1, giving you an early vitality, life per second and cooldown boost.
