According to former Vigil Games creative director Joe Madureira, Darksiders may eventually make a comeback.

Madureira, in a post on his Facebook page, said that Nordic Games won’t just let the franchise grow old.

“[Darksiders] is not dead,” he wrote. “The new owner, Nordic seems very committed to continuing the series.

“As far as my involvement, I can’t say at this point. Hopefully we will all have exciting news about the franchise soon.”

He also answered questions about his current projects, which you can check at the link above.

Nordic Games acquired the IPs of Darksiders, Red Faction, MX vs. ATV, Supreme Commander, Frontlines, Stuntman, Juiced, Full Spectrum Warrior and Destroy All Humans when THQ went bankrupt and had its sale last year.
