UK retailer GAME revealed in April a special edition for GRID Autosport, which was confirmed in the latest hours by Codemasters with a new set of screenshots and a gameplay trailer.
Sequel to 2008’s Race Driver: Grid and 2013’s Grid 2, GRID Autosport makes a return to the series’ more sim-oriented roots and promises a more realistic handling model and the return of the cockpit cam (absent from Grid 2).
“One of the key bits of feedback we took from GRID 2 was that you didn’t care for a wide spread of pre-order bonuses, you wanted something more simple, tracks were a no-go and most importantly, you wanted something that wouldn’t fragment the Community itself” Codemasters says. “All these thoughts were taken into account when devising the GRID Autosport pre-order offering, so, with this in mind we’d like to introduce you to the Black Edition.”
Inside the Black Edition of GRID Autosport you’ll get the following:
- Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupé Black Series;
- Black Edition White Ravenwest Liveries;
- 20 Black Edition online livery patterns;
- 10 new premium sponsors with objectives.
Pre-orders for GRID Autosport are now available at various retailers.
GRID Autosport will be launching on June 24th in North America and June 27th in Europe for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
