
FLASHOUT 2 draws inspiration from classics like F-Zero.
The sequel to the highly-acclaimed anti-gravity racer, FLASHOUT 3D, is now available on Android, and the developers have stated that versions for Windows Phone, Mac, and PC will follow at a later date. The game is currently offered at a reduced price of $1.99 on both iOS and Android.
In addition, the company decided to offer FLASHOUT 3D and Suspect in Sight! Anniversary Edition at the discounted price of $0.99 in the Google Play store, starting today.
For those who don’t know what the game is, it grants you the chance to step into an ultra-fast ship of your choice and fight your way to victory utilizing an arsenal of rockets, guns, bonuses, and upgrades. In addition to offering a redesigned Career Mode with story elements, improvements in steering, physics, and AI, online multiplayer, and a few new modes (such as Destruction and Elimination), the title features high-end console-quality graphics.
For those curious, the developers state that inspiration for the game came from classic titles such as F-Zero and the Wipeout series.
