Today Cartoon Network Games and NGD Studios (an independent game developer and publisher that is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina) are happy to announce that their title, Adventure Time: Finn and Jake’s Epic Quest, has arrived on Steam.

For those unaware, the title started out as a Web game on Cartoon Network’s website. It quickly broke records, gaining more than 1.3 million plays over the first week of launch and over 16 million since it was released.

Some may be reading this and thinking that it will just be a rehash of their Web version. If you’re afraid of this, however, you can put those fears to bed, as the Steam version is a complete remake. It features new graphics, a new combat system, a new world for you to explore, animated cut scenes, and even tighter gameplay and controls.

Andrés Chilkowski, CEO and Studio Director over at NGD, stated, “We always thought that Epic Quest was one of the best Adventure Time titles on the market. Having the chance to remake the game was a fantastic opportunity as we are big fans of the show. We couldn’t be happier with the results.”
