PS4 version of Beyond: Two Souls revealed by DualShock 4 input code

Page's character in Beyond Two Souls for the PS3

I’ve been against this trend from day one, but it seems like developers saw the chance of making a real profit from it and now everyone is doing this. And yes, I’m talking about the fact that a vast majority of games from both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 are being ported to the newer generation of console.

And while for a few might be a good thing, for me it isn’t. Why? Because we all have spent a lot of money to buy new equipment, but it looks like we will end up playing the same old games. Where are the new IPs and the new experiences that next-gen should give us? In “development”.

Now that you now my take on this, let me get back to a subject. A neoGAF user discovered something rather interesting in the input code for a DualShock 4 controller. In the code he could found three of the most used commands in Beyond Two Souls and even the “Director’s Cut” reference.

While this is only a rumour, I strongly believe that we shall see the game on Playstation 4 rather sooner than later.
