Next Car Game receives a host of improvements and additions in new update.
The team behind Next Car Game has revealed that the newest update, currently live on Steam, transports gamers back to the point where everything started; A sandpit. This is a throwback to similar tracks their fans loved from previous games. The track itself offers sweeping corners, hefty hillocks, and treacherous sand banks to challenge gamers, and the developers claim, “The latest incarnation, albeit still very much work-in-progress, is guaranteed to make a perfect setting for some serious, no-holds-barred racing.”
If you’re afraid that’s all the update has to offer, however, then put your fears away. In addition to this track, a brand new Replay mode has been added, making it possible for you to watch a race again from any perspective (in addition to the usual fast forward, slow motion, etc.).
They’ve also added two brand new derby stadiums and a number of other improvements, most of which were done thanks to community feedback. One such improvement is the ability to utilize more than one simultaneous controller, allowing gamers to drive with separate wheels and pedals. Another improvement made was to the suspension and tire physics, allowing the handling to feel more natural.
The full list of fixes can be found on the developer’s blog.
