Kingdoms & Monsters Easter event begins today
Mobile Monsters, the German indie developer behind the successful mobile city building game, Kingdoms & Monsters, has revealed today that their title has been downloaded 250,000 times on Android since it launched last year. Of these 250,000 downloads, they report that more than 100,000 players still play regularly on smartphones and tablets, and, surprisingly, there are an equal number of women and men playing the game.
Those who have been following the title likely know that last week the iPhone and iPad version of the title launched. The founder of Mobile Monsters, Julian Huehnermann, stated, “Our fans have been clamouring for an iOS version for some time now, but we’re a small team and didn’t want to lose focus on our successful Android version. But now we’re live and very happy with the positive feedback from the iOS version.”
Finally the developers have kicked off an Easter event. This event includes a host of extra characters, brand new buildings, and even a tongue-in-cheek story about Mrs. Hare, whom you must help because her husband, Mr. Hare, is too lazy.
Will the title see as much success on Apple’s devices as it did Android?
