New Child of Light trailer shows off the beautiful environments of Lemuria
You will explore the beautiful world of Lemuria as you attempt to save the celestial bodies.
Ubisoft has today provided gamers eagerly awaiting their upcoming Child of Light a brand new trailer, which gives us a look at the beautiful environments that are in the world of Lemuria.
For those that haven’t been following the news regarding Ubisoft’s upcoming title, the developers state, “Child of Light centers around Aurora, a girl from 1895 Austria who contracts a physical ailment that causes her to fall asleep. Upon waking up, Aurora finds herself in the mythical world of Lemuria which has had its sun, moon and stars stolen by the Black Queen. Aurora is tasked with recovering the celestial bodies and ultimately reuniting with her father, who is a duke. Lemuria is displayed as a fantasy realm, a land of unforgettable encounters, from gnomes and fairies and other unlikely allies that will assist you in your adventure to dark dragons and feral wolves.”
The game itself plays as a traditional side-scroller with elements from other genres mixed in. You will be able to level up, increasing your stats, for instance, and battles will be played out utilizing a system similar to Final Fantasy’s Active Time Battle system.
Child of Light releases at the end of this month for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Wii U.
Will Aurora be able to save the celestial bodies from the vile Black Queen?
