Nintendo adding classic GBA titles to the Wii u eShop in April


Nintendo is finally set to bring Game Boy Advance titles to the Wii U’s Virtual Console next month, as the Big-N announced today a slew of GBA games that will be available each week.

Below are the games and their respective release dates:

April 3

  • Advance Wars ($7.99)
  • Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga ($7.99)
  • Metroid Fusion ($7.99)

April 10

  • Kirby & The Amazing Mirror ($6.99)
  • WarioWare, Inc: Mega Microgame$! ($6.99)

April 17

  • F-Zero: Maximum Velocity ($6.99)
  • Golden Sun ($7.99)

April 24

  • Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3 ($7.99)

In addition, Nintendo is releasing Super Mario Bros. 3 ($4.99) for both the Wii U and 3DS Virtual Console on April 17.  Each game will support off-TV play, as well as include Restore Points and Miiverse functionality.
