EA loses the Worst Company in America crown in very first round
Last week we let you know that this year’s Worst Company in America contest is currently live. The question any were curious about was if Electronic Arts, who had won the contest two years in a row, would manage to take the crown a third time. The answer, it turns out, is no.
In the first round Electronic Arts stepped into the arena against Time Warner Cable. As the only company in the history of the contest to win the crap award two years in a row, they were confident. In the end, however, it was for naught, as Time Warner managed to beat out EA in the very first round of the contest.
EA had earned 48.8 percent of the votes, narrowly being defeated by their rival, who earned 51.2 percent. It was a narrow victory by Time Warner, but a victory nonetheless and one they can be proud of. The current brackets can be seen above.
Who will come out on top?
