Microsoft’s E3 presentation will take about 90 minutes

Video shows off Xbox One dashboard rework.

E3 2014 is going to take place in Los Angeles in June 10-12 and as the conference is getting close Microsoft is already making their presentation. It will be focused on games and some of the Xbox executives will be taking the stage to talk.

Spencer said that “We are already over our 90-minute time limit and having to move stuff out of show”. It seems that the company is trying to fit everything in the show including feature Halo news. Also there’s a rumor that they will discuss Halo 5, Halo 2 Anniversary or Halo TV.

An hour and a half sounds good. Going around two hours is too much for a press conference.

Ugh. Microsoft’s conferences have been tear inducingly boring for the past 3 years now. They usually show off some good stuff, but they need to learn that less is more. They need to…

    a) Cut out multiplat stuff that we’re going to see at other conferences anyway.
    b) Not have any of their executives on stage… Ever…
    c) Save the multimedia stuff for another time.
    d) Not have Usher perform. Nothing against Usher, but that’s not the right time.

Hopefully though, MS will inspire Sony to go a bit longer. Their stuff is usually good, even if it does tend to be a bit drier than it should be. Nintendo needs to go for about 5 hours or so to fix their problems…
