Have you secretly wanted to play as a bear? New Kickstarter may give you the chance.
Yes, you read that headline correctly. A group of people have decided to create a game that they simply describe as being “basically a game where you explore while being a bear”.
The Kickstarter in question is asking for $29,500 and states that there’s been a disturbing trend in games. This trend is a form of tyranny by Washington, namely the lack of being able to play as a bear. In the game you’ll be playing via the perspective that the developers call FPB, or first-person bear.
They go on to describe the game as something of a “mini Skyrim, but you’re a bear”. The creator goes on to admit that the game may sound like a “dumb idea or a really dumb idea”, but insists that, “You can’t honestly tell me that you’ve never secretly wanted to be a bear wandering around a forest. That’s just an outright lie.”
What do you think? Does this game idea fall into the dumb (or even really dumb) idea category, or does it secretly appeal to a side of you that does indeed want to see what it would be like to be a bear?
