Will you give up in Dark Souls II or push on despite all of the pain?
Dark Souls isn’t exactly known for being easy, having made several gamers break down from pain and exhaustion as they were destroyed in-game. Ok, maybe it’s not quite that hard, but the point stands.
We’ve found a brand new trailer for the second game which tries to give you a bit of a pep-talk before the game is released:
As the dialogue states, the game is, “About your will to keep going… not giving up when it feels like all is lost.” If there was going to be a pep-talk in a Dark Souls game, this certainly sounds like it to this writer, as it seems to be pointing out that the trial-and-error you will be forced to go through in-game will build up your character, just as it does in real life.
What do you think? Was it truly a pep-talk, or are we overanalyzing it?
