Super C added to the Wii U Virtual Console

Contra fans will be happy today as Nintendo has added Super C ($4.99), the NES follow-up to Contra, to the Wii U Virtual Console.

Originally released in 1988 Super C takes place a year after the events of the original Contra, and Bill and Lance must take on an even more demonic version of the previous game’s final boss.

Also on the Wii U, is a title update for Spin the Bottle: Bumpie’s Party, while Rising Star Games titles are on sale for the 3DS, which include Beyblade Evolution, Jewel Master: Cradle of Rome 2 and Girl’s Fashion Shoot.

Finishing off the week is AeternoBlade for the 3DS (releasing Feb. 18) and Spot the Differences! for the 3DS.
