Rust developer removes zombies from the game
Rust is a open-world survival game that is currently a part of the new Steam Early Access, and as a part of that service is being updated frequently based on what the customer wants. The developer has decided today that it’s time to make a big change in the game, replacing all zombies from the game with wildlife.
“Yep. We did it. We decided we couldn’t hold off any longer,” developer Maurino Berry wrote on the official Rust website. “The longer we keep zombies in — the more complaints we’d get about removing them. We are forcing ourselves to deal with it. We are no longer a zombie survival game!”
Was it a good decision? Rust’s concept was based on the popular game DayZ, and now that is radically changed, will people still like it?
