Naughty Dog mulling over the possibility of The Last of Us 2.

During an interview today, Neil Druckmann spoke of the possibility of a The Last of Us sequel as well as the possibility of a brand new IP from the company.

Said Mr. Druckmann, “We just wrapped up Left Behind, and Bruce Straley, the game director, and I have been doing this for over four years now. So it’s just time for a break, and to recharge the batteries.”

He went on to add, “We have started brainstorming some stuff. To be honest, some of them are sequel ideas, and some of them are brand new IP – we’ve spent the last few weeks brainstorming new IP.”

Some fans are more interested in a new IP, considering that the last time we received one from these guys we got the popular The Last of Us. What are your thoughts? Would you prefer to see a new IP, or would you rather see them work on The Last of Us II?
