Deep Down is an upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive free-to-play title that was unveiled for the first time back at Tokyo Game Show. We’ve seen several gameplay videos from the developer, and frankly the game looks very promising.
Sadly, Deep Down’s developer announced today that the game will be delayed until after this summer to ensure that the game will be using the full power of PlayStation 4. It’s also been confirmed that there will be no PlayStation 3 port for the game.
You have the full statement below:
About Deep Down, I think we’ll give full fledged information to everyone after the summer, so you may have to wait for a little while beyond the launch [of PS4] on February 22nd.
Since we don’t want to risk to be told “This could have been done on PS3!” we want to finish a game that fully uses the PS4 hardware specs.
