Is it me or it seems that most of the multiplatform titles run better on PlayStation 4? Sadly, another game will join the ranks of those that work smoother on PlayStation 4 compared to it’s rival Xbox One. In an interview with GamingBolt, senior producer at 505 Games, Jean-Baptiste Bolcato, revealed the difference between the two versions of the game.
According to him, the PS4 version will be close to 60FPS while Xbox One “may” be a bit slower. Of course, they will be trying to get the best out of the game on both platforms, but will they succed?
“Well as close as possible to 60 frames per second on both the systems, it will probably be closer to 60 on the PS4 but it drops to around 40 and 50, but you won’t really feel or notice it. It may be a little bit slower on Xbox One but we are hoping to have full priority between the two machines. The only thing the Xbox One won’t have is stereoscopic 3D as they do not support it yet,” Jean said to GamingBolt.
Will Xbox One ever recover from this? I can’t really find of reason to buy the inferior version of the game if you own both consoles. So it’s more than clear that Microsoft will be losing some sales due to this difference.
