World of Tanks: Xbox 360 addition arrives later this month.

Good news for Xbox 360 gamers who were interested in (whether you missed out on or participated in and enjoyed) the World of Tanks open beta that took place back in December. The full game is currently scheduled to release on February 27, 2014.

This news came straight from Wargaming’s mouth today, as they declared that this version was custom built specifically for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 console. They state that it will “bring the franchise’s trademark team-based tactical online tank warfare action and free-to-play accessibility to the millions of dedicated Xbox Live gamers around the globe.”

This game will be digitally available and free-to-play for Xbox Live Gold members and boast a 7-day trial for standard members. It features revamped controls, improved matchmaking, a new user interface (and other components which allow the game to take full advantage of the 360’s technological capabilities and online features), and, as most free-to-play games, in-game purchases.

These purchases include special premium tanks, consumables, and premium accounts that will boost your experience and currency accrual rates.

The game, at launch, will feature over 100 iconic tanks from three nations, namely the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Wargaming has also announced that the title will be further expanded with future content downloads that will consist of new tanks, nations, and even more.

Will you be playing this free-to-play game?
