New version of the Ouya debuts today.
Gamers who have been following the Ouya may be pleased to hear that a new version of the Android-based console arrives today. This new console offers several improvements, though it also offers a $30 price increase from the 8GB version’s $99 price point (although savvy shoppers may be interested to hear that the 8GB version is currently $69 on Amazon.ca).
The improvements to this new console include twice the storage capacity at 16GB of memory, better Wi-Fi connectivity, and a refined controller design. These improvements seem to be targeted at the criticism the console had received in the past (such as the Wi-Fi connectivity issue several users experienced).
Are these improvements enough to justify a $30 price increase in your opinion, or would you prefer the 8GB version despite the issues still present?
Thanks, TechCrunch.
