The fifteen Ultimate students in Danganronpa and the sadistic bear.
If you’re a fan of games like Phoenix Wright and Zero Escape, you may want to keep your eye on the upcoming game, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. This game releases on February 11 for the PlayStation Vita and has today received a brand new trailer, which you can view below.
The game takes place at a school called Hope’s Peak Academy, which chooses the “Ultimate” students from each field every year. You’ll be taking control of Makoto Naegi, a fairly optimistic but otherwise average student. You gain entry into the school via a raffle, earning the title “Ultimate Lucky Student”.
When you arrive outside the gates of the school, however, you lose consciousness. You awaken locked inside the building with the other fourteen newly picked “Ultimate” students. Suddenly a remote-controlled bear called Monokuma appears before the group and explains the one and only way to escape the academy: You must murder another student and not be caught.
What will happen to the fifteen “Ultimate” students? Will any manage to escape? Will they all be killed as each tries to escape by the bear’s rules?
