Game artists release guides that teach you how to create game art
If you’re an aspiring video game artist but are having some difficulty finding useful books or other decent material, we’ve got a bit of good news for you.
Ryan Hawkins, along with several industry friends like Sparth (Halo 4), John Park (Hawken), Furio Tedeschi (Silent Hill), and some of Ubisoft’s internal teams that worked on Assassin’s Creed IV, have gotten together to release a new book series that teaches you how to create video game art.
This book series is called VERTEX and we haven’t yet told you the best news. This book series is completely free. So if you’re one of those artists that dislike the limited commercial offerings of books like this, as Mr. Hawkins did, you can swing by the official website and pick them up.
