Bethesda announces voice cast for The Elder Scrolls Online

Elder Scrolls online voice cast revealed.

Elder Scrolls online voice cast revealed.

Gamers who have been eagerly anticipating Bethesda’s upcoming Elder Scrolls Online game today have received a bit more info. The cast that will be included in the game includes Academy Award nominee John Cleese, a Golden Globe winner, Bill Nighy, Kate Beckinsale, Alfred Molina, Lynda Carter (who will be reprising her role from Skyrim), and Golden Globe nominees Michael Gambn and Malcom McDowell.

Matt Firor, game director of The Elder Scrolls Online, states, “This extraordinary group of actors helps bring the distinctive characters in The Elder Scrolls Online to life. In The Elder Scrolls tradition, we sought world-class talent to add a deep and enriching component to the immersive world the series offers players.”

After reading this, you may be wondering what roles each actor (and actress) will be taking on. The full list can be found below:

John Cleese: Cadwell, a cheerful and endearingly mad lost soul that isn’t afraid of anyone, not even a Daedric Prince.

Bill Nighy: High King Emeric, a merchant prince who won the throne through a combination of luck and determination.

Kate Beckinsale: Queen Ayrenn, the Queen of the High Elves as well as the leader of the Aldmeri Dominion. If you plan to cross her, you should beware, for she is much more comfortable with a sword than a throne.

Alfred Molina: Abnur Tharn, the wily old wizard (and politician) who is the head of the Empire’s Elder council. He is also the de facto power behind the Ruby Throne.

Lynda Carter: Azura, the infamous Daedric Princess of Dusk and Dawn from Skyrim.

Michael Gambon: The Prophet, a mysterious blind man who will guide you through your journey to retrieve your lost soul.

Malcolm McDowell: Malog Bal, an evil Daedric god. He is a key figure that comes from another plane of existence with a simple goal: To enslave the mortal souls of Tamriel.

In addition to the above stars, the game will also include the following:

Peter Stormare: Jorunn the Skald King. He is an unexpected monarch who successfully led his people into an unlikely alliance.

Jim Ward: Mannimarco, a renegade High Elf wizard who was exiled from the realm for raising the dead. She is also the world’s most powerful necromancer.

Jennifer Hale: Lyris Titanborn, a Nord half-giant who aids you along your journey.

Kevin Michael Richardson: A noble martial artist and swordsman by the name of Sai Sahan.

What are your thoughts on the cast choice of Bethesda? Are there any actors or actresses you would prefer in any of the revealed roles to the ones they chose?
